About Michelle
Michelle Choi is an artist and educator. Michelle has Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from the Chelsea College of Arts and Design in London. Michelle captures the whimsical and joyful experiences of daily life through her use of vibrant colors and unique textures. Michelle expresses her passion for discovering the pureness, beauty, and mystery in her daily surroundings. She weaves stories through her vibrant use of color, materials, and a playful teaching process. Her passion lies in creating lessons that foster enjoyable and reciprocal learning experiences between educators and students, all while embracing the immersive world of art.
Michelle recently graduated with a Master of Arts in Art Education from the School of Visual Arts, where she cultivated her passion for art and education to make a meaningful impact in the field. She is currently an assistant teacher in the SVA Art for Kids program. Her previous experience includes an internship in Youth Program Education at the Textile Arts Center and teaching at NYC Korean School. She has also designed and led educational programs in Seoul and conducted workshops at a leading contemporary art museum in Korea.
Michelle Choi has exhibited her artworks in numerous shows and is published in Korean Art Textbook.
